b) Action phase: Using “action cards” (see below) each health staff members should review their roles and act accordingly. Regular in-service training is necessary so that the personnel involved remains up to date on their roles established in the plan.

c) Closing phase: After the emergency, an evaluation of the actions taken should be conducted, and necessary adjustments should be made to the plan based on the experience and lessons learned.
