Objetives of the module
This module is a general introduction to the essential concepts of the current vision of and approach to disasters and risk management in the health sector.
It also includes a summary of the principal hazards and vulnerabilities that combine and interact in today's world to increase or reduce the health impact of disasters, in developing countries in particular.
